2 Day Darling Downs Adventure 

Tour Overview

Join us for an exhilarating two day of off-road motorcycle adventure as we explore the stunning Darling Downs region. Leaving from Toowoomba, our expert guides will take you on a thrilling journey through rugged terrain, winding tracks, and breathtaking scenery. We'll also explore some of the historical locations of the area, giving you a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of the region.  We'll stop in and explore the heritage-listed Elgin Vale Sawmill, a steam operated sawmill which was in operation from 1944 – 1987 as well as other hidden gems around the area.

 

Over the course of the two days, not only will you be well fed with breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided by local establishments as part of the tour, including a stop in at the famous Kennilworth Bakery where you can take on their 1kg sausage roll or 1kg cream bun challenge.

but you will also have the opportunity to unwind and share stories at our accommodation for the night. There, you can relax, while enjoying a refreshing beer and sharing stories of the day with your with fellow riders, creating lasting memories while resting and recovering for the exciting adventures that await you on the following day.

The next day, we'll set off on another exhilarating ride, taking in even more of the breathtaking scenery the region has to offer before making our way back to Toowoomba, late in the afternoon. 

We can cater our tours to suit all skill and fitness levels, so you can experience the thrill of conquering challenging terrain while taking in the natural beauty of the Darling Downs region.

About this tour

What you need to bring

  • Your motorcycle licence (motorcycle learners is ok)

  • Riding gear – (We can provide hire gear for $100)

  • Hydration backpack (We can provide as part of the hire gear package)

  • Small Bag with change of clothes, thongs or shoes and toiletries.

  • Cash or Bank card for additional drinks, food or souvenir's. 

 

What’s Included

  • Hire Bike ( Honda CRF300L )

  • Park fees and permits.

  • Fuel

  • Trail snacks, lunches, Dinner on Day 1 and Breakfast on day 2.

  • Accommodation 

  • Photos and videos of the tour

  • Experienced tour guide and sweep (first aid qualified carrying mobile phone and EPIRB)

 

What’s not included.

  • Personal rider insurance

  • Any additional food, drinks and souvenir's

  • Alcoholic drinks 

 

Minimum skill requirements.

  • Motorcycle licence (learners are ok)

  • You need to be comfortable riding on bitumen highways at speeds of 80-100kms/hr and main dirt roads e.g. road at minimum 60-70kms/hr.

  • If you are a beginner, we can cater this tour to suit your ability and fitness level.     

  

Bring your own bike option

We do offer an option to bring your own bike on our tours, subject to following requirements

  • Motorbike must be registered and in a road worthy condition

  • Motorbike must have fuel range of 200km or greater

  • Motorbike must be a safe and reliable condition.

Hire Bike Cost - $800 per person

Bring your own bike - $500 per person
