3 Day Stanthorpe Adventure 

Tour Overview

Day 1: Toowoomba to Stanthorpe.

Our adventure begins with a ride through the beautiful countryside from Toowoomba to Stanthorpe,  We'll take scenic backroads before arriving at Condamine River Road to tackle its 14 creek crossing, and then we are off to follow Paddy's Flat road to visit the WWII Tank Traps, before arriving in Stanthorpe in the afternoon. We'll check into our comfortable accommodation and enjoy an evening meal together, getting to know our fellow riders.

Day 2: Stanthorpe and Surrounds.

Today is all about exploring the beauty and diversity of the Stanthorpe region. We'll ride through the picturesque Girraween National Park, taking in the stunning scenery before heading down towards Tenterfield along the Rocky River Road. We'll also visit the many natural attractions in the area, including national parks, waterfalls, and stunning lookouts. In the evening, we'll return to our accommodation and relax over dinner whilst sampling the local produce.

 

Day 3: Stanthorpe to Toowoomba.

After breakfast, we'll pack up and start our ride back to Toowoomba, riding along the historic rabbit proof fence and taking in more of the region's stunning scenery on the way. We'll ride through charming towns and villages, stopping to take in the local sights and sounds. Our journey back to Toowoomba will take us through rolling hills and past towering eucalyptus forests, with plenty of opportunities for photos along the way. We'll arrive back in Toowoomba in the afternoon.

This adventure ride is the perfect way to explore the beauty and diversity of the Stanthorpe region on two wheels, with like-minded riders and experienced guides.

About this tour

What you need to bring

  • Your motorcycle licence (motorcycle learners is ok)

  • Riding gear – (We can provide hire gear for $100)

  • Hydration backpack

  • Small Bag with change of clothes, thongs or shoes and toiletries.

  • Sleeping gear (Fitted sheet, pillow, sleeping bag)

  • Cash or Bank card for drinks at the Pub

What’s Included

  • Hire Bike ( Honda CRF 300 L)

  • Park fees and permits.

  • Fuel

  • Camping. equipment (Hot showers & toilets available at our camp ground)

  • Trail snacks, breakfasts, lunches and dinners

  • Photos and videos of the tour

  • Experienced tour guide and sweep (first aid qualified carrying mobile phone and EPIRB)

 

What’s not included.

  • Personal rider insurance

  • Alcoholic drinks

  • Any additional food or drinks purchased along the way.

 

Minimum skill requirements:

  • Motorcycle licence (learners are ok)

  • You need to be comfortable riding on bitumen highways at speeds of 80-100kms/hr and main dirt roads e.g. road at minimum 60-70kms/hr.      

 

Bring your own bike option

We do offer an option to bring your own bike on our tours, subject to following requirements

  • Motorbike must be registered and in a road worthy condition

  • Motorbike must have fuel range of 300km or greater

  • Motorbike must be a safe and reliable condition.

  • Must have offroad tyres

 

  • If you are a beginner, we can cater this tour to suit your ability and fitness level.
